Before tapping Place Bet, match the event, market, line, price and stake to what you intended. If the price moved or a leg changed, pause and decide again instead of treating the old screenshot as the offer.
What matters at a glance
- Selections appear after you tap the market price
- The accepted price can change before confirmation
- A multi needs every eligible leg in the slip
- The receipt is the record of the accepted bet
Build a clean bet slip
Start on the event or race page and tap the displayed price beside your selection. Open the slip and read it from top to bottom: competition, event, market, selection, line and price. Remove anything added by mistake before entering a stake. For racing, also confirm whether you selected Win, Place or Each Way rather than relying on the runner name alone.
Read stake and potential return correctly
The stake is the amount placed at risk. Potential return is the amount shown if the bet wins under the displayed price and settlement rules; it is not profit guaranteed in advance. On a multi, the combined price can change when one leg is removed or repriced. Review the final figure immediately before confirmation.
- Stake is money risked
- Return normally includes the stake
- Price changes can alter the displayed return
Why a Dabble bet can fail to place
Common causes include an event that has started, insufficient available balance, an unacknowledged price change, an unavailable player or an invalid combination of related selections. The useful response is to read the on-screen reason and repair that exact issue. Repeatedly tapping the button can create confusion if the first request later confirms.
Find the accepted bet after confirmation
Open My Bets and use Pending for unsettled wagers or Resulted after settlement. Save the bet ID when asking support about a price, void or settlement. A post in the social feed may show the idea, but the account receipt shows the wager Dabble accepted.
Before you jump in
Try the feature with a familiar sport first. A shared post is a starting point, so review every selection before it reaches your bet slip.
Dabble can update markets, screens and account rules. Let the current app screen make the final call, and set a deposit limit that keeps the experience inside your entertainment budget.
